What is the process for starting a project?

Getting started is easy.  Usually, we would chat for 15-40 minutes to understand your objectives. Sometimes it makes sense for us to also collaborate with members of your team such as senior leaders, sales reps, product marketing, or IT.

Here’s the process:

  • Discovery interviews.
  • Research – send us reports or survey data you would like to include in the asset.
  • Creative Brief creation – we deliver a 1-2pg outline for sign-off before writing starts.
  • We’re heads down writing.
  • You receive a DRAFT for review and iteration.
  • We finalize and you’re done.

We try to make the whole process as painless as possible because you have more important things to do than manage writers.  When you work with us there’s no hand-holding, lengthy investments in education, or re-work for you.

Do I need to come up with a topic?

No. If you have ideas or a specific topic to write about that’s awesome.  We are very skilled at identifying topics that will drive the most engagement and education with your target audience.  We conduct pre-writing research to understand how the topic has been covered in the past and to make sure everything we produce is unique and valuable.

How long does it usually take to complete a project?

In most cases a realistic timeframe is 4-6 weeks from kickoff to production ready asset.  This can be collapsed if there are urgent timelines to consider.

What are the final deliverables?

We deliver professional ghostwriting services; all frameworks, graphics, copy, and content are yours to use or re-use as you see fit.  We guarantee original content.  In most cases final deliverables include word and PPT files (with supporting graphics) which you can place in your own brand compliant whitepaper templates and publish.

How much does a typical project cost?

We price competitively on a project-by-project basis. If you are looking for the lowest priced writing resource, we probably aren’t a great fit – you get what you pay for. That’s also why we offer a money back guarantee if, for some reason, you aren’t happy with the quality of the work.

We invoice 50% up front after a signed SOW and 50% after final delivery.  But we are very flexible with payment terms – many of our clients commit last minute unused funds to content creation or need to spread payments across multiple quarters.
